Observations from the asphalt by John Christie

John Christie is long-haul trucker who has worked in the transportation industry since 1999. Prior to that he was a clergyman in the United Methodist Church in Arkansas.  He holds degrees from Hendrix College and Duke University. His sisters and their husbands as well as his son Jacob and his daughter-in-law Christina all live and work in central Arkansas. John's main squeeze is the Rev. Beth Waldrup, senior pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Camden, Arkansas.  John was also the 1972 Grape Stomping Champion at the Altus Wine Festival.
